As I know these persons are no more popular in Russia, Time changed so new heroes came, but in general we prefer not to have any heroes in this movement because of their potential controllability.

Yes, there are often possible to hear about equality of socialism, communism and totalitarianism. It's delusion.
Another situation: "democracy" and "democrats" in Russia are often curses. Ordinary citizens make equality between democracy and criminal, corruption, economic crisis, hard drinking Eltsin, Chechen war, destruction of USSR, destruction of army, industry and agriculture.

If i was a russian i'd think the same because i'm seightseing what's happening in Italy during these last decades. We were all in good conditions even if we had many problems. Right now we are facing a bad crisis and things are going bad and what i think about the present state of Democracy is that it's in a deep crisis and we cannot conceive it like we thought it previously.Not anymore.
